As a company we are pleased to be able to offer a new service to our customers.  Recently we have purchased 4 Graden GS04 units, which are designed to remove considerably larger amounts of thatch than a normal scarifier.  These specialist machines are manufactured in Australia and have proved to be highly successful.

We have successfully used the Graden on a number of golf and bowling greens to ensure that large amounts of thatch are removed from the playing surface.  This has resulted in not only a fast and firm surface but the reduction of the thatch layer has helped to reduce irrigation requirements.  This specialised machine can be adjusted down to a depth of 45mm for deep penetration and as little as 5mm where routine thatch removal is required.

If you have a STANDARD or PREMIER contract with us, the use of these machines is part of the autumn maintenance programme.  (If you have an ECONOMY contract with us, you can use this service at an additional cost.  If you do not have a contract with us , you can hire us to carry out this de-thatching process on your green, and it is part of our PLATINUM autumn renovation service.
